What you are reading at Larchwoodgames
Larchwoodgames is a free reading site about idle and incremental browser games. You can read every page without making an account, signing up or paying anything, and nothing is offered for sale here. By browsing the site you agree to these terms, which we have kept short and in plain language.
We may revise these terms when the site changes. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version, and continuing to read after a revision means you accept the updated wording.
A score is a week of play, boiled down to one number
Every review, ranking and score on Larchwoodgames reflects the honest opinion of our editors after playing each game over many days. Idle games are updated often, and a mechanic we describe may change after we write about it. We revisit reviews when updates land, but some details can fall behind for a while.
If you spot something that no longer matches the game, please write to editors@larchwoodgames.com. Corrections are welcome and we act on them quickly.
The new tab each play button opens
Each play button opens the game’s official website in a new browser tab. Those websites belong to the people who make the games, and their own terms of use and privacy policies govern what happens there, including how your saves are stored and what data they collect.
We choose which games to cover and link to their official homes so you reach the genuine article. We encourage you to read each publisher’s own terms before settling in for a long run.
Game names stay with their makers, these sentences stay with us
Game names, logos and related marks belong to their respective owners, and we use them only to identify the games we write about. The text, illustrations, mascot, layout and design of Larchwoodgames are our own work.
You are welcome to quote short passages from our reviews with a link back to the page. Please ask before republishing longer extracts or reusing our illustrations.
Using the site fairly
Read, share and link to Larchwoodgames as much as you like. We ask only that you do not try to disrupt the site, copy it wholesale, or pass off our writing as your own. The shortlist and compare tools are there for your personal use, and shared links work for anyone you send them to.
Ontario rules this page
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. If a question about them ever needs settling, it will be handled under those laws. Questions about anything on this page can go to editors@larchwoodgames.com, and a person will reply.
